Edit: Yes it completely skips the scene, rather than fading to black it cut to a picture of a hamster...

I've always thought Kishimoto is good with battle choreography, definitely shows when team 10 fight. Really enjoyed chapters 533 and 534 because of that.

You also have to consider that Isshin is fighting an Aizen who has already fought Yamamoto. It's not as if Isshin went to a fresh Aizen and wore him out from 100% on his own.

Naruto in sennin mode vs Pein he used his brain, for example covering one of the bodys eyes with a bunshin so another wouldn't see the attack launching at him.
