To tell you the truth. The bald guys appearance in the manga was short lived. Same with the 2011 anime. Their exchange had a purpose even though it doesn't make sense. I can't think of a better way...

This was an intense episode. The BGM fit perfectly, the suspense, the build up. Man were in for ride.



It wasn't about the statue, it was more about Gon being interested in the conversation....

This wasn't a filler episode. All the scamming stuff they learn is important. It's to show what type of character Gon is and also to teach them things they use later on in the arc.

As for the episode i very much enjoyed it. The shortening of the scenes may have bothered people but at least this episode got the points...

HxH needed a remake big time. The 1999 anime wasn't as faithful. Also this a re-make of the manga...The current episode did its job, now on to the next.
