although i'm not familiar with the book, i enjoyed the first episode a lot. after getting used to the special art style, i somehow think i wouldn't appreciate this show as much without it.

although nothing groundbreaking, "bleach" seems to be an enjoyable show. i found the action scenes to be well put together and the comedy elements certainly made me smile. ^_^
