Technically, neither one of those is a prequel (= a sequel that takes place chronologically before the previous story) to GTO as they both came before it. GTO is the sequel.

Actually,

1) ...SJG is not a prequel, it's the predecessor to GTO. Then came Bad Company (prequel to SJG), then came GTO which was the last sequel. :)

2) ...there already is an SJG anime: Five...
