Big O would have been much better if it weren't for the Instant Awesome Just Add Mecha bit. It had a good Gotham City-esque, Batman: TAS vibe going on... then huge senseless robots show up. :uhoh:

The closest thing I've seen in an anime to Fallout is The Third: The Girl With the Blue Eye. It has a lot of parallels to the post-apocalypse setting used by Fallout, but notably lacks FO's emphasis...
