Yup, the series is generally pretty episodic, although the cases gradually get longer as it continues. An average one is about 3-6 chapters, but they can get up to 2 volumes and the longest so far...

The only sub I've seen was the Japanese -> German -> English softsub. It was done by Anonymous on 4chan and someone also made a .mkv from that script. There's a torrent for the .ass up on Tokyo...
