Well I take MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), but I don't know if it's considered a sport. I also used to play for my high school basketball team, though I lost interest in the sport in the last year.

I think it's because Tomoya has known Kyou longer, and in Japanese culture if you've known someone for a while it's fine to call them by their first name. But in Ryou's case, she's not that close...
