Try watching Berserk, I don't see it on your list, and it's a series you shouldn't miss. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and the Hellsing OVAs also, as well as Comedy. These come to mind atm.

I second the Berserk Scrapped Princess and Samurai Champloo recommendations. For something more recent, try Utawarerumono. Lots of action and battles, some comedy, some romance, a pretty good show...
