Yes, I think it is more likely that Reiko changed just like Natsume is changing now. Natsume is not only accepting (and even enjoying) his ability he is forming close relationships with humans too....

Wow awesome news. I love hearing all these success stories for Natsume. It really did seem like an underdog series of the summer so it's great to hear that it ended up doing so well. :)
