Steptember 6th, Night...
Because of the heavy rain, afternoon training was canceled and the remainder of the day was spent inside.
Maren, Koji and Yui were invited to stay overnight at the RF6.
Yui cheerfully hummed as she changed clothes, "~Sleeping together with Maren-chan~" She danced around.
Maren sat on the other side of the bed, thinking of that day's events.
Yui climbed onto the bed, and from behind asked her, "Maren-chan, what's wrong?" She tilted her head.
"I...I told Minawa-kun my secret..." She replied concerned.
"You mean that scar on your chest? It's not that big..."
Maren shook her head, "That's not it...What I told him was something more important than that." She paused.
"But...Minawa-kun was so shocked by it, I think...ah!" Maren felt Yui arms embracing her.
"Don't worry...I'm sure Onii-chan isn't going to hate you, no matter what your secret is, he was just surprised."
Maren smiled a little, "Thank you...Yui."
"Now..." She paused, "Let's sleep!" Saying that, Yui pushes her onto bed.
"Y-Yui?" Maren said surprised.

In Hayate's bedroom...
"Mou, Hayate-chan, Shamal, stop teasing me~" Rein complained, sitting on a pillow.
"Gomen gomen..." Hayate giggled.
"To think Rein passed out just from thinking what Ko-chan could be doing with Maren-chan is too funny." Shamal giggled too.
"Honestly, where did you get such strange ideas?" Vita poked Rein on the head.
"Well..." Blushing, Rein fidgeted.
"Oh, that's right..." Hayate remmebered. "'That' new year's eve..."
Vita flinched, "I-I forgot about that one..."
"It was quite messy wasn't it, Hayate-chan?" Shamal turned to her.
"It sure was." Hayate laughed, "We all got a little carried away and drank too much."
"...and I ended up being the victim." Vita sighed.
"And Rein watched the whole thing~" Shamal teased her.
Then, Signum entered the room.
"I'm back."
"Oh, that's right...who would have thought that Signum would be so wild after a few drinks." Hayate remembered.
"Mistress, what are you talking about?" Signum blinked.
"Too bad you don't remember a thing..." Hayate sighed.
"Signum...where's Zafira?" Rein asked.
"He's...catching some fresh air."
"But isn't still raining?" Vita asked.
"He 'insisted' on going out." She smirked.
Meanwhile, outside...
"Signum! This isn't funny!" He shouted. "You know I hate to get my fur wet!!!"

At another room...Koji laid on the bed and looked at the ceiling...
"I'm not human..." It echoed in his mind.
"Why did I froze like that?" He sighed. "Maren-san...isn't human..."
"Then...what is she?" He asked himself, knowing that he can't answer.
"Is she like Signum-sensei and the Knights? A familiar? ...or a Device?" He kept asking himself.
"N-no..." He shook his head to throw away those strange ideas. "There's got...to be...a good..." and fell asleep.
.
..
...
It's lunchtime, and Koji was invited to have lunch with his classmates.
"Really, Koji, you're one lucky guy."
"You really think so...?" He said before taking a bite of a piece of tamagoyaki.
"Yeah, you hang with the five cutest girls in town, even though they're in a different school." He pointed at Koji with his chopsticks.
"And you also have a cute sister who's a freshman here!" Another student added.
"How did you do it?" Another one asked.
Koji tittered, "I-It just happened..." He scratched the back of his head.
"Tch...some people have all the luck and don't need to lift a finger." One complained as he folded his arms.
"Hehe..." Koji tittered.
"I hear that each time you had to leave during classes, Nanoha-senpai and the other senpai also left their's..." He looked at Koji suspiciously.
"Well...it's because of emergencies..." Koji tried to explain.
"Also, you meet up with them everyday after school...must be fun, huh?" He smirked, poking Koji on the shoulder.
"T-That's not entirely true...everyone's very strict when it comes to training and studying...at the end of the day, I'm exhausted from it all." He replied earnestly.
"TRAINING???" They all shouted together.
"YOU BASTARD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THOSE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS???" A student grabbed him by the collar of his uniform and shook him back and forward.
"It's not what you're thinking~" Koji replied calmly.
The guy shaking Koji gets slapped on the head by someone, letting go of him...
"Ah...Meg-Iincho (class president) ..." Koji said as the turned to see her.
"Stop bullying Minawa-kun!" She said with an imposing voice.
"We're not bullying him..." They said.
She then looked at Koji, "Minawa-kun..."
"Y-yes?" he blinked.
"Wanna eat with me?" She showed her bento box. "I made an extra portion just for you~."
"ah..." He sweatdropped as he felt a chill down his spine, and as he looked behind him...
"Kojiiiiii~" The guys said with an aura of jealousy around them. "Even, Meg-chan..."
"Ah...hahhaha...ha..." He tittered slowly.
"Let's go outside, it's a beautiful day~" She pulled him by the arm.
"I-Iincho?" Koji squealed as she suddenly pulled of of his seat.
...
..
.
Koji slowly opening his eyes "Mmmmm~" He shook his head again.
"Why am I remembering these things?" He slapped himself lightly on the face. "This has nothing to do with the current issue..."
"But...What they said back then...is true." He sat on the bed, "I end up being surrounded by girls...even if they're just friends, it's unusual..."
He looked at his hands, "Is it another ability I have? Or is it just me being myself that trigger such events?"
He sighed..."Yeah right...I'm fated to be surrounded by girls...how delusional can I get?" He laughed at himself.
"But, even Rein got attached to me...because of that incident..."
----------------------------
I wish I had Koji's life
Here's what happened after he got dragged out of the classroom
I guess Yui's a good cook (probably learned it from Hayate too)
And if you're curious about Maren's scar (and a little fanservice) ... Here
She got it when she was still a child, when her family got murdered by the "Demon", she got swiped by it but the wound wasn't fatal.
So, she's the only survivor...man, this feels so Harry Potter-ish
Next: How Rein got attached, as Koji puts it, to him.

... Koji is a PIMP now?!?!?! Why isn't this guy a Recepticon yet?! Kinda strange that Koji dreams about how much a playah he is just when he just got his biggest revelation on Maren
As they say though, realization of self is the beginning of the path to perfection!
Also quite a nasty scar there... but overriden by Maren's hawtness
And they have no shame for Yui's Oiishi Bento don't they?
MOAR PLEASE!!

Yoosh!
Here's my continuation to the preview a while back, entitled "Goddess of the Azure Sky", which profiles the device Rhythm Edge:
Spoiler for Part One:
*Audio Log for Device Artifact 1022, “Rhythm Edge”. Logged by Kaylin Mathis.*
Magic.
In the modern age, Magic has come to mean several things, but all of them pertaining to special abilities and powers that are used to create various phenomena that technology has yet to achieve. But more often than not, the prevailing belief concerning the usage of magic is the tendency to associate it with military usage; as mere agents of destruction, or aids to such agents. Midchilda, Belka, Chaos, Divine, Ustio, Aspect, Visalia, Narulia… all of these magics, and many more are designed for use in war, and in preventing war. Despite the primarily non-lethal nature of most of these magic classes it is a sad fact that so many magic types are based on delivering the maximum amount of damage and destruction to one’s enemies.
There is a magic type that I’ve recently run across which throws this convention out the window, and into the limelight. A magic system whose sole purpose is to enhance life, not take it. A magic based on a cultural norm that all civilizations, regardless of race, religion, creed, or even species have in common.
Music.
And this is the basis for this magic system, which is better known as Lyrical Magic.
Lyrical Magic is extremely simply in concept and execution as far as magic systems go. Its primary purpose is the manipulation of the surrounding atmosphere to create and control sound, and also the acoustics of an area. But this is a cold and incomplete description of what this magic class can accomplish.
And the first device I encountered to use this magic class I found a year ago, during a trip to the backwater towns of the Moldiva Badlands, one of the more notorious places for bootlegging, and underground black market dealings.
I found it being sold from an antiques dealer as a worn down, rusty shield. Anyone would come to the conclusion, as the large, blue chevron like object certainly looked the part. The most unusual part of the device was its incorporation of a cartridge system. As far back as the First Renaissance, shields have always been a secondary consideration in the development of weapons, especially with the emergence of magical shields, and most physical shields then were more for decoration than actual protection. The shopkeeper, rather dubious and incredibly stupid, could not fathom why a shield would require a cartridge system. My gut instinct with devices told me why: It wasn’t a shield.
A little haggling got me the supposed shield for an incredibly discount, and immediately I set about analyzing and inspecting the device to uncover its secrets. It is incredibly rare for any archaeologist in any field to piece together an entire history from a single artifact, but to my amazement this was the case here, when Rei managed to recover the device’s logs. While the device itself has no AI, it did store an incredibly extensive audio and magic program log that told of its history.
The device was called Rhythm Edge, and it was not a shield: It was, in the strangest manner, a guitar. And its owner, a traveling musician who toured the tumultuous lands of the First Renaissance, known only as Blau Gottin.
The Blue Goddess.
Also known as the Goddess of the Azure Sky.
A name that I had long remembered and treasured ever since the Scrya Elders told me her story that fateful day 10 years ago. Emulated by thousands, and loved by many more. The Goddess was the beacon of hope for the common man in the time of the Great Belkan Civil War, when the Kingdoms of Opel and Vauxhall were locked in a war for ultimate supremacy.
The Goddess who brought the gift of music to the war-torn lands, and gave hope to the people with whom her music touched. Whose delicate yet stern hands strummed the tunes of peace and unity amidst the constant strife of those times, whose face shone with her infectious smile. Whose words stirred the passions of the people’s feelings of love and joy, and whose voice reached out and comforted their aches, pains and sorrows.
And now, I knew her ultimate tool in spreading her music, Lyrical Magic, and her device Rhythm Edge.
