Background
Spica was the result of a scientific experiment that attempted to copy the 'Knight' programs from the Book of Darkness. She was one of the last proto-types to be created before the TSAB raided the secret labs and put a stop to any further creations.
She was enlisted into the service of a warlord that was plotting the downfall of an imperial dynasty. It was there where she first met Jeno, who was hired for a similar purpose.
Spica was treated more as a fighting tool than a living being, every mission she was sent on just required her to fight to the death. Over time, she herself had believed that she is nothing more than a weapon for the humans to use, and that she will never be seen as an equal by them.
Jeno was the first human who had challenged that belief of hers. When confronted with the question as to why he was doing all that for her, he admitted that he himself didn't know the answer, but he did say that it didn't feel like the wrong thing to do. Though the REAL reason was painfully obvious.
In one fatefully mission, due a failed assault, she was cornered by TSAB enforcer Haralown. Just when the final blow was about to be deal, Jeno arrived in the nick of time to save her. It was the first time he had done anything for another person on his own will, a gesture Spica never thought she had deserve.
Soon after that incident, she became the first person to have received a genuine smile from Jeno. In return, he was the person she gave her first smile to.
After switching sides to aid Clyde and the TSAB, Jeno confronted his former employer in order to defeat him and free her from his will. With that, her first act of freedom was to stand by Jeno as his human life came to an end.
After joining the ranks as one of the Destroyers, Jeno made a offhanded remaked that he would have to deal with for the rest of his immortal life. He said that since neither of them would age now, entering a romantic relationship shouldn't have much complication know as it did before.
Unfortunately, Spica took it very seriously, hence crushing Jeno's dreams of aquiring his own harem.
Initially, he had attempted to carry on with his intentions behind her back, but after eavesdropping on her sorrowful confession with Freya about how she would accept and support his decisions (Among other dramatic romance stuff), he became guilt-ridden for the first time in his life.
These days Spica just stays at his castle retreat in Seraphim along with
Cero's 13 loli-meido catgirls. They usually tend to the household errands till the Destroyers returns. Till this day, Jeno had never openly admit to their relationship, yet he has never said otherwise either. Jeno still does his best to carry out his dream, but the image of her first smile just seem to burn brighter in his memories as the time passes.
