the continuation of BOMF right after the last point till the end, WARNING SPOILER HEAVY
Kurama was hidden deep inside the Gladiator Pit. He feels surprised for the haste arrival of Sousuke, and he feels all the Gadiators are crap for not blocking his way, even by a bit. Still, he prepares his rifle with poisonous bullets, and though he doesn't have time to prepare explosives, he still set a C4 trap somewhere in the pit. Will it be easy to lead SOusuke to that trap and detonate it? God knows. Tactically, he can choose to escape, but because of some kind of martial pride of "he won't be that weak when comparing with Sousuke", he stays and fight. Sliently, he leaves the room.
With his carbine, Sousuke enters the 1/F of the pit. He doesn't know if there're any traps, but he persumes there're not enough time for doing so. His right boot is already filled with his blood, making him hard to move and cause him pain. When he sees his shadow on the wall, he suddenly realizes something. "Devil", "God of Death", all those words told him before, are they really meaning himself? How many people he had killed until he reach this place? Even he can see Chidori again, what is he going to say? About killing lots of people and lead to the death of an ordinary girl like her? Impossible, because she doesn't want anyone dies for her, killing others are just damaging her presence as the symbol of peace. He already bears too much sins, and even they're reunited, it'll be impossible for them to get their mutual happiness, or going back to that school. It's already proved from the start, but still, he chooses to go on. Something pushes him forward.
Just when he arrives on the second floor, he senses someone is here. Gunshot. He dodges. He knows it's Kurama, even he doesn't see him. Then he fires back, suppressing Kurama's mobility. Then he moves out of the corner and fire his weapon, while Kurama fires and falls back. As he arrives at a small escaping ladder, he feels suspisious. It really gives him a feeling that Kurama wants to say "come and chase him", but he still runs towards 2/F. Just as he arrives, Kurama ambushes him and fires, but he knows he'll do that already and dodges, returning fire. No conversations. This is what we know about fighting.
Kurama then reloads, so Sousuke dashes forward for a better position and nearly reaches him. Kurama fires, he fires again, then Kurama hides himself so that the next shot misses. Each time they fires, their shadows will be shown. After a few moments, Sousuke senses that he's luring him to follow his steps to the pit itself. But he realizes that it'll be dangerous to chase him directly, so he tries to find a place that can fire upon any places among the spectator's stand------The brocasting room, which can have a good view all over the pit. He runs into the door, and suddenly realizes his opponent is Kurama. He should have been known that Sousuke won't give a chase directly after some times, then which door he's going to enter?
This iron door.
As it's opened, the C4 hidden beneath the door explodes. The iron door his his left shoulder, pushing him to the other side of the corridor until he hits thw wall, hitting some garbage bins in the progress. His arms and legs are still there, thanks to the impact-absorbing, heat-resistant Mithril pilot suit, but his left arm seems broken. He tries to stand up with his gun supporting his weight, and he sees Kurama within the fire and the smoke, aiming at his chest. Gunshot. Even his pilot suit have some pullet-proof ability, it can't stop rifle shots, blood spills on the wall behind him. Then a few more shots coming. Sousuke finally falls down unconscious.
Kurama is pretty surprised to see the explosion kills him, and his ability to snad up afterwayds, but it seems all come to the end. Still, he's still very cautious when he moves towards him, ready to give him a headshot------the smoke and fire blocks his line of sight. But as he moves, he feels some other people are nearby. Four, probably more. They're very stealthy, and without paying attention to even the smallest sound they can't be found. It seems that they're the one who ambushed him and the officer before when they're watching the M9 vs Crossbow match. He hastely aims at the one who had exposed his upper body and fires. He then ignores who're coming to rescue his fallen breathen, instead turning sliently to the opposite side: Southern part of the corridor. 2 are there, he shot one before they fires, and as the other one fires they're stopped by his bulletproof clothes, and Kurama kills him as well. Before the enemy falls down, Kurama rushes towards him and picks the grenade on his chest, throwing at the corner where others are hidden, and kill 2 who're injured after the explosion.
He feels furious about the ambush, and although he can track down all of them to ask who''re they, it's too dangerous to do so since their number is unknown. As such, he hastely returns and prepare to give a killing blow to Sousuke------but he's not there. Only with the blood on the floor, his body is gone. Not just these, but also the wandering footsteps with blood until the back of a large garbage bin in the corridor. At that moment, Kurama feels screwed, and he's right: Sousuke with his carbine is aiming at him, and he fires. First shot at the stomach rocks his body, another one penetrates his bulletproof clothes and penetrates his chest. Kurama can't stand straight anymore, and after a few step backwards, he falls down and drops his gun.
It's not any other question like "ambush" or "taking the chance", it's just the fact that Sousuke isn't dead, still can moves and still have the strength to pull the trigger. He then hardly stands up, walking towards his fallen foe. He feels pain when be breathes, with a hole in the stomach, though he can still stand up he knows that he's not going to be alive soon enough. But before that, he hardly points his gun at Kurama, asking him where Chidori is. Kurama wonders why he asks that, and he replies he'll save her. He said Sousuke is an idiot, and facing his threatening he rather chooses to shut the mouth instead of saying anything. Expected, Sousuke keeps asking. Kurama then asks what's the reason for him to fight against him, and he replies it's all because of her. (Sousuke doesn't even have the idea of what he's saying) Kurama laughs at his thought about such thing of "the power of love", but then he replies why it can't be. Sousuke can't understand what's love, but he knows he has a reason to stand here, doing so, asking him about it. Kurama then says she can be at San Carlos, somewhere in Houlguin of Cuba, or Granada, but if these places aren't her safehouse then he doesn't know. He then comments these stuff doesn't matter to him anymore, and he shouldn't get rid of his smoking addict, before he dies.
Exhausted, Sousuke loses his consciousness once more. He has to tell somebody about these information, but who can fight for him, bringing her back? He don't know. Soon he hears Lemon approaches, staring at him before shouting out words like "medic" and many other medical stuff he should had known. But in the end, what's left in his brain is her. He thought sh'e Nami, but she's not. She became furious at first, then her temper goes down and talks to him. During his life in Namsk he can't remember her, but now she looks real just as before. He murmurs about the hope to see her again, even just for once......
Elsewhere, a girl's voice tells another "I meet him". At first that girl doesn't understand who's "he", but then he understands: it's fate who pull that girl towards him. But then the voice says she had parted with him, because she had died, and she feels sad that she can't replace "her". The girl then asks where's he, and the voice answers that he's in Namsk, heavily injured. Not just these, but the girl knows more about him, such as the fact that he's still fighting, became alone again, and he's still finding her. She feels sad, wanting him to stop, but at the same time she wants him to go on. The girl then asks if he's special, but the voice says he's just an ordinary person, and the only strange thing is that he meets with "her" because , the voice says, he's originally hers. She says sorry to the voice, and the voice says she has to go because the Whispered is coming. But before leaving, the voice asks her to forgive him when they meet again, though the girl doesn't guarantee that. The voice says it's enough if she can remember these words, and then fades out from the space.
Chidori wakes up in her bed, voices of waves are nearby. This glorious mansion is near to a coast of somewhere in the world, and she thinks she had a dream but can't remember what's it about. Someone knocks the door and a maid comes in. She says it's time for 3pm tea, meanwhile asking how's the work upon the analysis of Benemoth-i (!) from the morning, and Chidori says it's finished, placed on the table. The maid then hands a cup of tea to her, asking her if she had a sad dream because there're some tears around her eyes. She drinks the tea, thinking about "why she can't stay with him" and the tears start to burst out of the eyes.
Midnight. The dock is slient. The woman who called Wraith with her truck stops before a warehouse, where a man is waiting for her. The man asks if she's been followed, and after the answer, he tells her to drive the truck in.
Some armed guards are around, and the man asks if "that thing" has been brought. Wraith opens the backdoor of the truck, there's a wooden box. The man comments that he's great to salvage it back, and Wraith replies it's because Japan police had been in a chaos as well. Then she asks that man------Gavin Hunter-----if the general knows about it, and Hunter says if he knows, they're doomed. Wraith wonders why he's so obbessed to finish the work despite they're being abandoned, and Hunter replies it's just the feeling of finishing the nearly-finished puzzle, as well as for revenge------especially for "that girl" she likes.
Hunter then asks her if she'll like to see "that thing" and she nods. He then reaches a container nearby, pulling down the cloth and the head of an Arm Slave shows up. The container contains a whole AS, but due to the darkness she can't see the whole thing. it's a 3rd Generation AS, BUT it's not M9, it's something newer. What's more, she feels that the coldness in the atmosphere is gone when it comes to the AS. It's burning, saving its spirits because of its anger, wanting for revenge, thirsting for enemy's blood. She doesn't know why she'll feel it like that.
"What's it's name?"
"Doesn't have one so far, because this plan seems doesn't even exist before. But, um, if a model number is need for it......"
Hunter looks at the AS.
"It'll be ARX-8."
TO BE CONTINUED IN MMD

31/10/2007: Update finished.
Obviously ,hope is the first step to the road of disappointment.
But no fear, people can only overcome disappointment when one still has hope in the mind.
So keep on fighting UNTIL THE GOAL IS REACHED!!
