One word describes Kaiji: intense. Don't get caught off guard by the weird art style.
Has a lot of psychological stuff. Is currently airing and I highly recommend this.

ef - a tale of memories - romance, drama, psychological
ef is a masterpiece and a true work of art, and I am sure many people agree with me. One of the greatest anime series in 2007.
Koharu Biyori - ecchi, comedy, slice of life
Hilarious. Has a lot of fanservice though.
