LYRICAL OF TIME
TAKERU

Spoiler for history:
Takeru’s mother passed away when he was six, leaving him to the caretaking of his father. It was from Akatsuki Ito, renowned for his experience in jungle and sniper warfare, that he learned the traits of a hunter, including the unavoidable tendency to stalk other people even when it wasn’t necessary.

On his 13th birthday, Takeru moved to Switzerland to follow his father who had been asked to open classes for the Swiss Army freehand combat trainers. There, his life took a major detour when he came across a shooting spree where Paladin Frieda Johansen of the Belkan Knighthood was under attack by Visalian rouges. Caught up between the crossfire at the Swiss Alps, he did not panic and remained calm as his father had always adviced, and amidst the confusion he got her eyes hooked on the female knight, awed by her beauty and impressed by her strength as a combatant.
To his surprise, Frieda was overwhelmed by the rouges and lost one of the Armed Devices Wild Falken. Driven by protective instinct, he jumped into the heat of the battle, took control of the Device and single-handedly ousted the rogues. By the time reinforcements from the TSAB arrived, Takeru was dumbfounded by his unheard-of ability of controlling such an instrument.
A few days later Takeru was approached by the Belkan Knights representatives and asked whether he would like to join the order. At first he declined the offer, saying them that he was only doing what a man needed to do to save a damsel in distress., but after his father adviced him to seize the opportunity to further expand his survival knowledge he accepted the offer.
Takeru moved to Belka and was introduced to Frieda, who personally owed him for saving her from the rogues. She also told him she was interested in his talent of handling Wild Falken and wished to train him on the art of sniping. Takeru would first become her apprentice and, as months passed, be adopted as Frieda’s foster child (the female paladin had not decided on getting married as yet). From Frieda, too, Takeru got to know the Johansen’s broad family including Frieda’s other foster child Sayoko and Frieda’s gondolist sister Agnes.

Currently Takeru is finishing a special weapon training course with Foxhound Unit and is expected to receive the official Gunslinger Badge in two weeks.
Spoiler for power:
Takeru is another Belkan Knight categorized as a Gunslinger due to his extensive gunmanship level. His expertise in long-range combat and art of sniping has earned him the nickname “Eagle Eye”, and he is able to distinguish potential targets from innocent bystanders by simply looking at them.
Takeru’s device is Wild Falken, a transformable Armed Device that can switch to one of its three primary forms: Sturmform, Scharfschütze-Form and Panzer Faust. Each of the form is modelled after Earth’s well-known weapons: Sturmform Wild Falken takes the form of the AK101 assault rifle, Scharfschütze-Form Wild Falken takes the form of the AS-50 semi-automatic 50-calibre sniper rifle, while Panzer Faust Wild Falken is modelled after the powerful NTW-20 20mm anti-material rifle.
Due to the nature of Takeru’s fighting style, Wild Falken is primarily used for medium- to long-range engagement and is not suited for close-range combat, which is why Takeru has come up with Silberkugel, custom-built Armed Device resembling dual handguns, to accommodate Wild Falken. Later on, Takeru entrusts Silberkugel to Sayoko.
Spoiler for defensive abilities:
Knight’s Armour
It is a red Templar-style dress with black frills and blue armbands and jet black boots. This suit is not just the flashy costume, but also refers to an invisible defensive field generated by the costume, reducing or eliminating any serious injury from events such as an impact with a building.
Takeru’s Knight Armour comes with trench coat-like extension, which serves nothing more than for decoration.
Triangle Shield
This ability blocks all magical or physical attacks coming from one direction with a triangular barrier, much like Fate’s or Nanoha’s Round Shield.
Verbegen (Conceal)
This ability used for camouflage to conceal the caster from visual contact, therefore protecting the caster from being seen by target. This ability’s effectiveness reduces as the target’s sense of perception increases.
Vermeidung (Evasion)
This ability increases the caster’s ability to dodge any oncoming attacks.
Nachladen
This is not an attack, but refers to Wild Falken’ and Silberkugel’s procedure of reloading a cartridge.
Explosion
Also not an attack; both Wild Falken and Silberkugel this when using cartridges, similar to the English-speaking devices’ “Load Cartridge”.
Wahrnehmung (Perception)
Also not an attack, but refers to the ability to increase field of vision, therefore improving line of sight. It is influenced by factors like weather, combat environment and target’s awareness level.
Okay, I'm done for.
