Actually if you look back in the chapter when he goes ghoul they say weakness to the holy cross. Since I consider his transformations more or less him in a controlled ghoul state and not really a vampire i kept that weakness with him. I could be wrong, but everything needs at least 1 weakness imo. (I guess my way of looking at it is his body is of a ghoul, but his powers is of a vampire)
And not true about Gin, don't forget he is an S-ranked class monster. If there was a full moon for one, im sure he'd have no problem, also my opinion of Gin is he hides a lot more of his power that he tends to show.
