YOSH time for another post for Suvia
Suvia’s eyes slowly opened as they took their time adjusting to the glow of the morning light. But it didn’t really matter to her how long it took to get used to the sun. As far as she was concerned, her eyes could take all the time in the universe to finally wake up. Because in her arms was the light of her world. Cuddling up tightly against her bosom was her 5 year old daughter Eir. Ever since she had to leave her home, all she had was Eir. Eir was 2 when they had left, but nonetheless she had taken care of her since the day she was conceptualised deep within her. There was no treasure in the universe that could compare.
Letting a hand thread through Eir’s snow white hair, Suvia let out a wry chuckle. It was clear to her that most of Eir’s features drew hardly anything from her late husband. Perhaps the chin and cheekbones, but save for that, all the girl’s features drew from her mother. Snow white hair, emerald green eyes, fair skin, it all came from her mother. Said mother continued to cuddle her sleeping child as her thoughts wandered reminiscing about the time she had spent with her daughter, and how everyday she was thankful of all the times she could come home and be able to take her daughter into her waiting arms.
“I’ll never let you go,” she quietly whispered. No matter how many times she said it, it would always bring comfort to her daughter because she knew that she would do all she could to come back home safely. Suvia would stake everything she had, including her life, to make sure that her daughter would be safe.
Her thoughts eventually travelled to that of her sister Lilia. Today she would start her search for her. She already had the lead provided by her sources, but she didn’t know if that would take her to her sister’s location. But nonetheless, it was a good start. Her mind quietly worked and planned, determining what she would need to bring to mount an appropriate rescue for her sister. Unfortunately, she had no idea how long it would take to get to her sister, so Eir had to come along. Although the idea of hiring someone to look after her daughter was an incredibly pleasing idea, the kind of crowd that lived in the city was not the best choice, especially for someone as impressionable as her daughter. Then there was the fact the employee would simply allow Eir to do whatever she wanted and somehow letting her get killed. It was a hazard she couldn’t avoid, especially since she wanted to stay under the radar; hence the preference of keeping her appearance concealed as best she could, and simply be seen in her barrier jacket instead; that way people could only identify her by her helmet. She also made sure that no one could ever see her hair. Being seen with hair like hers would only attracted unwanted attention.
Throwing the covers off, Suvia propped herself up on an elbow and stared out. Beyond she could see the desert sun has risen well above the eastern horizon. A small smile graced her features. She remembered how she used to watch the sunrise everyday as a child. It was a beautiful sight. Although she considered sunrises to be a truly amazing sight, seeing it rising up from the oceans and forest beyond was a really special treat she cherished everyday. Although no longer able to watch any more sunrises from that particular sky, she could at least be thankful of the memories she had within herself. So long as the memories existed within her mind, she had everything she could want from a sunrise.
Gently crawling out of bed to allow Eir to sleep, Suvia opened up her closet door and pulled out a few bags, and began packing. Thankfully, most of her belongings were packed away ready to go at any moment’s notice, including her daughter’s things, with the occasional toy being pulled out. However, there were a few things that were not packed, and stored separately from their belongings. Getting up, she grabbed Faiz from the night table, left her room, and walked into a corner of the room. Moving a small side table and the chair aside, she opened up a hidden compartment revealing three black nondescript cases hidden. Pulling two out, she opened up one up revealing a small camera device. Opening up Faiz she dialled in 5-5-5 and hit the start button.
[Standing By] it called out.
Closing Faiz, it formed the Faiz Driver belt around her waist. Grabbing the camera, she placed it into a holster on her left waist. Opening up Faiz, she hit the End Call button and dismissed the Faiz Driver. Nodding to herself, Suvia closed the case for the Faiz Gear and put it away. Opening up the second box, Suvia took a moment to examine the contents of the case before closing it and locking it shut. Putting it aside, Suvia put everything back into place and headed back into her room with the Gear box in hand.
“Morning mama,” Eir sleepily greeted, rubbing the sand out of her eyes.
“Good morning,” Suvia replied, putting the case down on the foot of the bed. Sitting down on the edge of the bed, she pulled Eir onto her lap. “Did you sleep well?”
“I dreamed,” Eir happily stated, despite her sleepy state.
“What did you dream?” Suvia asked.
“I dreamed mama brought home someone,” Eir explained as best as a 5-year-old could. “I dreamed I had a mama, brother, and mama’s sister. I saw mama and a black and gold Rider fight together. It was so cool!” Suvia couldn’t help but smile. Although not one to be superstitious, she did believe in luck. And if her daughter could dream about something so special, and something that she could possibly bring to reality, she had a feeling that she just might have just enough luck to be able to make it come true. But for now, she wouldn’t get her hopes up, especially her daughter’s.
“That sounds wonderful,” said Suvia as she affectionately rubbed the top of her daughter’s head. Eir giggled happily from the rubbing, and hugged her mother tightly. “Let’s go take a bath, and have some breakfast.”
Eir happily nodded and was hefted up in Suvia’s strong grip, only to see the packed bags in the corner. “Mama...you going somewhere?”
“We’re going somewhere together,” Suvia corrected Eir. “There’s someone I’d like you to meet.”
“Who, who, who?” Eir excitedly asked.
“Just wait,” Suvia said, tapping the tip of Eir’s nose. “It’s a surprise.”
Suvia was thankful that at the very least her information indicated that Lilia was on the planet, rather than somewhere else. It would’ve made things a lot harder if she had been forced to try and obtain some sort of transport for herself and Eir to get to where Lilia was. But as things were, she was lucky enough that she didn’t have to worry about it. She also hoped that the information as 100% accurate and that she would have to jump through hoops in order to find Lilia. Presently packed behind her were Eir’s things in one pouch, and the other carried the black case. On her back was her own personal belongings, and strapped to her front so that she could drive the bike was Eir wearing a big grin on her face as the wind caught whatever hair that wasn’t held down by her helmet.
Seeing the location indicated by her informants, Suvia brought AutoVajin to a halt. Already she felt uncomfortable being in the area. Everywhere she could see people in varying degrees of destitute. This was definitely not a place she wanted to bring Eir to, but she had little choice in the manner. Already they had been travelling for four days. She shuddered at the thought of what could have already happened to Eir during that time. Usually when she went on a mission, she would leave AutoVajin behind to take care of her. She could trust the machine to take care of her daughter, and ensure her safety, even if it meant his destruction. However, if everything went well, she would have the complete peace of mind that her daughter would always be safe whenever she went on missions. She then undid the straps holding Eir to her and placed her down, before dismounting as well. She then grabbed the entire luggage off the rear seat allowing AutoVajin to assume its biped form.
Kneeling down in front of Eir, she placed firm hands on her daughter’s shoulders. “Listen to me closely, because I have a very important job for you.” An amused smile formed on her face watching her 5-year-old daughter’s eyes lit up in excitement, asking what it was she was going to do and promising to do it well. “It’s very simple. I want you to follow everything that AutoVajin tells you to do. No arguments, no buts, no nothing. Can I trust you with that job?”
“You can count on me,” Eir declared, puffing her chest out.
“Good girl,” Suvia stated, patting the girl’s head. Getting up, she pulled out a neatly folded cloak from a pocket on her pants and threw it overtop the poncho and her backpack. Pulling out the Faiz phone, she activated the device.
[Standing By] Faiz called out, forming the belt around her waist underneath the cloak.
Suvia placed Faiz in its cradle, but did not lock it down. Opening up the case she had brought along, she strapped all the gear to the belt, and then grabbed the phone device for this unit and rotated it open, and dialled.
[Standing By] the device called out, in a deeper voice than Faiz.
Doing the same thing, she docked the phone into the cradle, but did not lock it down. Holding it in her left hand, she made sure that the cloak hid all signs of it. She then gave her daughter another kissed and a quick hug before walking into the decrepit building.
“Mama...” Eir called out, watching her mother walk through the doors. AutoVajin simply kneeled down and place his hand on the girl’s shoulder. While he couldn’t comprehend the emotion, he could at least see that the girl whom he considered as a sister, and considered him as a brother, was really worried and scared. He could only pray for Suvia’s safe return. Until then, he would make sure her daughter was safe.
Suvia wrinkled her nose in disgust. All around her, men and women from various high-end walks of life were presently talking amongst one another, calmly waiting. A part of her inside wanted to just lock down Faiz now and teach these fools a lesson. As far as she was concerned, these people that surrounded her were nothing but trash, people who had to be appropriately deal with. These people angered her greatly. These people had no morals if they took pleasure in this sort of behaviour. When the opportunity presented itself, she will pass judgement upon these fools. However, now was not the time to deal with these idiots. She couldn’t afford to be rash. Patience was the key for this situation.
She glanced up to the stage. There were a few technicians working on the lights on it, doing final preparations before the show began. She slowly made her way over to the stage. Already the plan was in motion, but she needed to be in place in order to play her part. Getting in wasn’t much of a problem since she had the necessary requirements to get inside. They had been the easy part. The hard was to wait for everything else to fall in place before acting. Too soon could cost her Lilia not being in position. Too late and she could miss Lilia completely.
“Just a little longer Lilia,” Suvia sighed.
Soon enough, it began.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you for coming,” said the MC, bowing slightly as the crowd gave him a light applause. “I’m sure that you’re call excited for what’s to come, and we graciously thank you for your participation. And I think you’ve been waiting long enough, so without further ado let us begin.” Gesturing to the curtains behind him, a cloaked white-haired girl stepped out from behind the stage flanked on either side by stage hands.
Suvia immediately bile the bile build in her throat as she struggled not to suddenly lash out in rage when they suddenly removed the girl’s cloak, revealing her nude form for everyone to see. There was no mistaking it: standing upon that runway, exposed for all to see, was Lilia. It took all her willpower and discipline not to just immediately run up and cover her sister’s modesty. It only made it harder on her, because clear as the emerald in her eyes were tears. She was being utterly humiliated in front of such a massive crowd. To think she was forced to watch her sisters, one of the strongest people she knew who took no nonsense from anyone, be reduced to tears and have nobodies, unknowns to her see her like this. They would pay. Every last one of them would pay for her sister’s humiliation.
“Out first item for the evening, this pretty young lady here,” the MC introduced, grinning lecherously at her lusciously delightful body, much to Suvia’s and Lilia’s disgust, “only 21 TSAB-standard-years-old, and a young and healthy virgin. Fresh from the sea, as it were, she’s a diamond in the rough, waiting to be polished. Snow white hair, emerald eyes, she can be yours to mould into whatever you see fit; whatever the imagination can come up, limited only by your desires.” Already people were murmuring to themselves, discussing various ideas and plans on what they wanted to do with Lilia.
“Let’s start the bidding at....10 million credits,” the MC started. Very quickly, to Suvia’s, and especially Lilia’s horror, the bid was being raised very rapidly.
Despite not being able to hear her, she could easily read what Lilia was saying. “No...no...please no...” the tears only intensified as the numbers kept jumping and jumping. Gritting her teeth, she knew what she had to do.
“100 MILLION!” she bellowed out, much to the shock of everyone present, especially her sister who’s eyes nearly doubled in size from shock and horror.
“Oh...someone’s really interested,” the MC commented, smirking in amusement. “100 million credits going once....going TWICE....SOLD to the lady in the black cloak for 100 million!”
Suvia let out a sigh or relief as she quickly made her way up to the stage to claim what everyone thought was her prize. She couldn’t help but be amused at the idea of what was going to happen. Because for one thing, she had no plans on paying.
Stepping up to the stage, Suvia stood in front of her frightened sister who flinched at the sight of her bringing out her hand from underneath the cloak. It broke Suvia’s heart to see her like this, considering how much of a spitfire she normally was. Giving her a once over, it was clear that she was only physical abused, possibly molested, but no signs of other trauma or injury. It was clear that they had intended to let her buyer claim her virginity. At least she wasn’t sexually scarred.
“Easy...easy,” Suvia sighed, gently taking Lilia’s hands in hers. “I’m not going to hurt you.”
“Like hell you will,” Lilia spat through the tears and terror that laced through her, only watch her buyer smirk. “What you smiling about?”
“That you’re still the same as ever, Lilia,” Suvia commented so that only her sister could hear.
“How...how do you...”
“Know your name?” Suvia finished, bringing out the belt enough to only be seen by Lilia. “Do you remember how to use this?”
“Do you really believe I will anyone to harm family?” Suvia asked, moving her arm aside to reveal the Faiz belt underneath. “Shall we leave?”
“No need to tell me twice,” Lilia stated, grabbing the belt from Suvia’s hands and strapped it on. “HENSHIN!”
[Complete] the device called out as it was locked down into a horizontal position.
“Henshin!” Suvia called out, discarding her cloak and flipped Faiz down as well.
Immediately both released forms for their armours solidifying, leaving Suvia in her black and silver armour. Lilia’s, however, released a stream of yellow frames before solidifying into black armour, with an X-shaped symbol both on her chest, and her helmet with a blue circular visor, and her shoulder paldrons were pointed instead of rounded.
The room suddenly exploded into uproar and panic. They had not been expecting an attack of any sorts, leaving everyone wondering what was going on, while guards tried to organize themselves and deal with the treat accordingly. The problem was none of them were mages, leaving them ill equipped and trained to deal with such a threat. With the added fact that Suvia and Lilia refused to give them a chance to appropriately defend themselves, they had no chance of fending off the two mages, especially with so many non-mages in the room running and panicking by this point.
Suvia immediately opened up Faiz and dialled in a set of numbers and hit the start button. [Sabre] Faiz called out, forming a simple nondescript sword in her hands. She immediately took action and leapt into the crowd, taking someone’s head off as she landed. They had hurt her sister, or he wanted to try. They had tried to sell her and other women to these people for their pleasure, and for their own profit. Their actions and crimes would not go unanswered or unpunished. Now was the time for action. No was the time, for vengeance.
Lilia grabbed a slanted X-shaped device from her waist, the chip that was attached to her buckled, and locked it into a slot on the bottom of the device.
[Ready] the device called out in a voice similar to Faiz. Immediately the weapon released a blade from the bottom. Flipping the cover of her buckle down enough to reveal the start button, she pressed it before flipping it closed again.
[Exceed Charge, Xeno Clash] the phone called out in its deeper voice, releasing a burst of energy along the frame before it reached the weapon, forming a sheath of yellow energy around the blade. Lilia wasted no time in attack the guards as one swing bit into the groin of the nearest one before being split in two as the blade exited through his shoulder, releasing a shower of blood. Redirecting her attack, she then impaled the fool to her right through the heart before cutting him in two. Throughout her vicious attack, she was calm, cool, calculating. Every strike was made with the intention to kill. Every cut was clean and precise. Every attack that landed was for very female who was with her and had seen suffered. Every last one of them would die.
“Vajin, don’t let ANYONE of them live,” Suvia angrily called out over a private connection. “And DO NOT let Eir see you kill, or the bodies.”
[Understood] AutoVajin replied on the other end.
“What are you doing?” a frightened woman cried out.
“Punishing those who would harm my sister,” Suvia calmly replied before severing her head from her shoulders. Despite her upbringing, she had come to realize that those precious to her were far more important than anything the universe could offer. Even if she had all the money, all the political power, all the loyalty she could ever have, it would never compare to the happiness, the joy being with those whom she considered friends and family. For that, she would protect, even if it meant killing others. She had no issues with killing. She never did these days, and would never. She would kill, but never murder.
Besides, she was getting paid to kill them, so it was an added bonus.
“It appears things are going well,” Suvia commented as she kicked someone’s head into a wall, exploding it into a mess of blood and brain matter, coating her boot in its remains. However, it mattered little to her. She was a mercenary, first and foremost. She watched as another poor soul was impaled by her blade. She wasted no time cutting upwards, letting the blade exit the top of his head.
“I shall end you,” Suvia simply stated, beheading another. Grabbing another by the chin, she dug her nails in and ever so slowly turned her head towards her utterly frightened prey. By this point, he was reduced down to a whimpering mass. With the added fact she was slowly turning her head, she could already tell that the poor fool had soiled himself. Expertly twirling her blade, she held it dangerously close to his throat.
She took a moment before recognising this particular fool as the MC. “You will pay for what you’ve done, and almost did, to my sister.”
“What-what-what-” he stuttered, now frightened to the point he couldn’t form coherent sentences anymore. Suvia’s answer to him was to slam him into a wall and drove her blade down to the hilt into him, making sure she hit nothing that would kill him, pinning his useless soon-to-be-carcase into the wall. Of course, the end result was him screaming in pain, but it didn’t matter to her too much. Taking both hands in hers, she gave them assuring squeezes as a series of cracking resounded in her ears, followed by long and loud screams of pain.
“Wait here,” was all she said before grabbing the camera device from the pouch on her left waist, and released a handgrip. Now holding it like a knuckle duster, she grabbed the chip from her buckle and placed it over the lens of her device, opened up Faiz and hit the start button.
[Exceed Charge, Grand Impact] Faiz called out.
“DIE!!” she angrily screamed as her fist impacted someone in the chest before their innards exploded out their backs in a shower of blood, bone, and gore. Maintaining the charge in her fist for as long as she could, she backhanded another in the face before exploded into a massive mess, splashing all over her armour. Her attack continued on for another few minutes as people died incredibly gory deaths.
Grabbing someone’s arm as they tried to hit her, Lilia swung upwards cleanly cutting off another guard’s arm. She proceeded to grab his other arm, placed her foot in his armpits, and pulled with her hand while her foot pushed. The result was a screaming guard as she painfully relieved him of his other arm. Tossing it aside, she jumped off the stage and landed on top of a rather fat man on his back, falling off of him, but not before taking is head off. Most had died by now, but reacting to movement in the corner of her eyes, she aimed the weapon towards it and fired, taking another woman’s head off. Signing to herself, Lilia immediately headed backstage.
By the end of it all, none of the bidders or employees was left alive. Outside, Suvia was sure to be some she and Lilia had missed, and had been dealt with by AutoVajin. Down at the runway, Suvia watched her sister lead out a small troupe of girls who were supposed to have been auctioned off. Glancing around, she quickly pulled off the clothes of a few people who were not heavily stained in blood. Although her mission statement had indicated that people would deal with taking care of them, she wanted to at least protect their modesty, even if it wasn’t much.
“Here, put these on,” said Suvia, handing everyone some piece of clothing, before turning to Lilia. “You alright?”
“Just glad to see you and Kaixa again,” Lilia sighed, indicating to the device on her buckle before pulling her sister in a hug. “Thanks for saving me...”
“You’re welcome,” Suvia replied, giving her sister a tight squeeze. “There is someone else we have to deal with.”
“Who?” Suvia simply moved and nodded towards the whimpering MC who was still pinned to the wall. Immediately Lilia’s blood boiled as memories of this man came to the surface. “YOU!” she bellowed and moved to attack, only for Suvia to grab her shoulder. “What are you doing?! I’m going to-”
“You will do nothing,” Suvia calmly stated. “I will extract information. You will find AutoVajin and wait.”
“What?! If anyone should deal with him, it should be me,” Lilia snapped.
“If you knew how to interrogate someone, I’d gladly give it to you,” Suvia calmly stated again. “but right now,” she began as she dropped her barrier jacket and pulled some clothes from her backpack, “these girls need an escort up top where someone will take care of them, and I need YOU to take care of your niece.”
“Niece?” she asked as she was handed a set of clothes. “Wait...Eir’s here? Why the hell did you bring your daughter here? Of all places?!”
“The alternative was leaving her with a babysitter for approximately 8 to 10 days,” Suvia sighed, adjusting her hood to ensure that her face was still hidden. “Believe me when I say that alternative is not the best choice.” Putting her bag back on, she reached for something hidden underneath her poncho and produced a ribbon. “I...found this from the remains of your room...”
“My favourite ribbon,” Lilia exclaimed, accepting the cloth item. “Thanks...”
“It was the least I could do...” said Suvia, now struggling not to cry.
“I’ll...I’ll go see her...we can talk later,” said Lilia who was also trying not to be overcome by her own tears. Getting a final nod from her sister, she watched Suvia turn towards the pinned man. Leading the other captives to another room, they all put on their clothes and head up to street level, where a number of men and women quickly escorted the girls away. Lilia was almost taken away as well if it were not for AutoVajin stopping them and telling that she was with him. Apparently, they all knew who he was and did not argue or question his claim.
“It’s good to see you again,” Lilia sighed, pulling her mid back length hair into a high ponytail so that the ends just stopped below her neck.
[I am also pleased to see you alive and well] AutoVajin replied. [However, I would believe Eir will be pleased to meet a member of the family]
“She probably doesn’t even remember me,” Lilia sighed. “It’s been... three years?”
[Three years, 2 months, and 23 days] AutoVajin simply stated as they turned a corner.
“Auto,” Eir happily cried out, hugging the biped’s legs.
[Eir, I would like you to meet your mother’s sister, Lilia, your aunt] AutoVajin stated, introducing the girl to the young woman.
Eir took a moment to study Lilia before saying, “She looks almost like mama!”
Lilia couldn’t help but laugh at the comment. Despite the 7 year difference between her and Suvia, the two were told they looked almost identical, save for a few defining features, and the fact that their hair grew out differently. Suvia’s hair always looked a lot fuller, and was wavier. Her hair had a matt sheen to it, and lacked the flair and curves that Suvia’s hair did. But despite that, she still remembered how back then she was still considered one of the most beautiful girls out there.
She kneels down and took a moment to get a good look at the girl. The resemblance between mother and daughter was uncanny. They both had bright emerald eyes, snow white hair, and the fairest skin nature could give. Right down to the tip of her nose, she was an exact replica of the Suvia she knew from images she had seen when Suvia was 5. She reached out and placed a hand on the girl’s head and waited a moment. Seeing that she wasn’t shying away, it seemed that she accepted her.
Affectionately rubbing the girls’ head, Lilia said, “Well you look just like your mother.” Eir of course giggled happily at the compliment.
“Are you like mama?” Eir suddenly asked.
“Eh?” Lilia asked. Her answer was in the form of Eir pointing to the Kaixa phone which was still in her hand. “Oh...yeah. But this is Kaixa. Your mama uses Faiz.”
“And the locked up one is Delta,” Eir stated in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone.
“I see,” Lilia stated, lifting Eir up into her arms. “You know your Gears very well.”
From behind, AutoVajin watched niece and aunt get reacquainted. One thing he had noted right from the beginning when he was first activated was the difference in Lilia’s and Suvia’s personalities, which also reflected in their speech. While Suvia had a much more refined, civilized, very polite way of speaking, Lilia was more in between extreme polite, and extreme rude. She knew how to carry herself accordingly when the situation called for it, but preferred to be casual when she spoke. It was something that she always did, even growing up. From previous members of the 21 year old when she was 18, and now, there was very little difference in her mannerisms. Her physical beauty, however, he noted had greatly changed throughout the years. In his years of service with Suvia, he had noted that the females in the family produced women of great beauty, intellect, and warrior prowess. He had no doubt that in about 10 years he would watch Eir grow into a beautiful flower as well, much like how Suvia and Lilia have grown to be.
“You know, I remember when you were first born,” Lilia commented, nuzzling their noses. “You were so adorable back then.”
“And now?” Eir asked, wearing this hopeful expression.
“Hmm...How to put this...” Lilia muttered for moment. “I’d say you’re starting to look cute.”
“Not adorable?” Eir whimpered as her eyes began to water and the bottom of her lips quiver.
“Hey, hey, now that’s not a bad thing,” Lilia confidently stated. “It just means you’re growing up from adorable to beautiful. A baby is adorable, but a grown woman is beautiful.”
“Really?” Eir asked, not sure if what Lilia said was true.
“Absolutely,” she said again with the same confidence. “Just look at me and your mother. You should see what we were like we were younger! We attracted so many boys-”
“Could you please not talk about such times,” Suvia commented from a distance, slowly approaching them with a rather wide grin on her face.
“Mama,” Eir called out.
“Hey,” she greeted, ruffling her daughter’s hair. “Have you been a good girl?”
“Uh huh,” she happily answered, hugging her aunt’s neck.
“Hey, nothing wrong with talking about the past,” Lilia stated.
“Not when it speaks of embarrassing experiences with me, Lilia,” Suvia sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose in minor embarrassment. “There are things...I’d rather like to forget.”
“Oh you mean like the time that-”
“Lilia!” Suvia cried out, blushing red at the very thought of what her sister might be referring to. “Please, not in front of Eir.”
“But I wanna know,” Eir complained, puffing her cheeks.
“Yeah, she wants to know,” Lilia joined in, puffing her own cheeks only to have one side punched by Suvia.
“Please...do not do that,” Suvia sighed. “It’s unbecoming, especially for people like ourselves.”
“Hey we’re not royalty, I can do whatever I want,” Lilia stated, rubbing her sore cheek. Suvia shook her head, but left the matter alone.
“So...what was with the smile?” Lilia asked, referring to the big grin that Suvia had when she had initially appeared.
Suvia simply flashed a small chip before pocketing it. “I got a bonus with my payment. Apparently we did a better job than expected, and I got some information they didn’t know they had. So they gave me a bonus for our troubles, and the fact that I was now taking care of you.”
“About half a million,” Suvia stated, earning a surprised stare from her sister. “It’s enough to relocate.”
“Relocate?” Lilia asked.
“You don’t expect us to raise my daughter in a shack do you?” Suvia asked, raising an eyebrow.
“I suppose no,” Lilia agreed. “But what did you have in mind?”
“I’ve finally saved up enough so we can move to Mid-Childa,” Suvia stated, tapping AutoVajin’s chest and turned him into his motorcycle form. “I need you to carry my pack while I drive.”
“Mid-Childa,” Lilia repeated, trying to remember the name as she put the bag on. She watched Suvia strap Eir to her and mount the back, and then mounted AutoVajin sitting behind her sister, when it dawned on her. “Wait...you don’t mean that...”
“Suvia nodded at her sister’s incomplete question. “I plan to be taking the Accel and Cartridge Watches.”
