BTW, Im not an animator nor do I know alot about animation techniques, but can someone explain to me what the lines in the place of shaded areas (like knunkles, eyes, etc...) are supose to mean in the anime. I think the are supose to stand as a shadow effect but Im not sure. Also the closer I look the more I think that some of the frames look like traced from the manga.

It's just a drawing style commonly used in manga...and for whatever reason several anime crew use them in their drawings as well.
