There's a big difference between him accusing someone in a hypothetical scenario and someone actually being accused by someone else entirely in a real scenario, where there would be immediate consequences.

Didn't Meta-Battler not directly accuse Eva in Ep3...? I remember Real-Battler doing it, (and getting shot for it), but...

Did you even read the Battler vs Eva-Beatrice battle. Everything was blamed on Eva completely. And when he couldn't blame it on Eva anymore with Nanjo he pretty much was ready to call it quits. And in EP 4 during the red vs blue battle with Beato he also pinned all murders on Eva when going through the 3rd game.

So he basically had no trouble pinning all murders on obvculprit Eva but when Natsuhi is accused of obvculprit then he gets mad and defends her. Totally hypocrite imo.
