Storm leaves damage trail
Making breaking news in Victoria (and headlines in tomorrow's papers) is news of a freak storm that hit Melbourne hours ago, dropping an unprecedented amount of water and leaving damage in it's wake. Just to tell you how bad it was (I was outside when it hit), approximately 10 minutes before it started pouring I saw a dark blot of cloud looming in the North west, while the other side was just patchy cloud. I walked into a library to grab a book, came out and it was spitting. Went into an Aldi store, got some chips, came out 5 minutes later and it was pouring with rain, and loud thunderclaps. As I write, it's still pouring cats and dogs out there.
The storm itself has flooded Melbourne, and severed train services. Glad I got a lift home.
