0:00-0:03: A misted view of what I remember to be the Chapel. Once again, all our assumptions that the chapel has something important to play in these riddles is brought up once more.
0:04-0:07: Portrait of Beatrice with a glitchy transition. While the portrait is no surprise (we see it in all the OPs, if I remember correctly), the transition is new.
0:07-0:12: Sorcerer Battler and Virgillia standing behind something, in what's either Lambda's court from Episode 5 or the Chapel. Not sure which one. Feels almost like a mourning more than anything.
0:12-0:18: Strange golden design or object, not sure what it is. A golden butterfly floats past it as it fades to white.
0:21-0:27: We fade into a scene of moving across water, towards some landmass, probably Rokkenjima. Interesting to note, twice during this, at 0:22 and 0:24, we get a switch to a negative view of the scene, with the "shield" surrounding the island in Epiosde 5's OP appearing. After the second appearence, we get some seagulls flying past and some television static. Towards the end, another golden butterfly.
0:27-0:29: A misted view of the mansion. Looks eerie.
0:29-0:33: A close up of human Battler, with one of his many concerned expressions, in which his eyes close part-way through. In the background we see stained glass. Perhaps the Chapel?
0:34-0:37: A scene of flying through what I took to be an Endless rose garden. Towards the end, we see a large number of golden butterflies.
0:37-0:40: A misted scene of the Kuwadorian, with a golden butterfly floating about. Man, these guys are everywhere in the OP. Interestingly, the butterfly disappears as the light in the window turns on (0:38) to reveal Beatrice in the window, with some weird contraption to the right.
0:40-0:43: The two new characters have stolen Ange's favourite window, and are staring at their reflections. When I look at this, I can't help but get the feeling that person in the red suit is important, and the pirate-like guy is her guardian. He's always standing behind her, and in this scene, his appearance is a little blurry, while her's is clear, if incomplete.
0:43-0:46: A lens flare effect over a chessboard pattern, as the magic circles, the graphic demonstrations for the closed rooms, and a couple lines of red text, if I caught them correctly, come flying out of it.
0:47: Jessica, George, Ronove, Gaap and two Goat Butlers are all standing together, though the Goats are hell to see (they're to the sides of Gaap for a fraction of a second.). Jessica and George are both wearing their angry faces, though I can't see Ronove or Gaap's expressions.
0:48: A group of people, in order closest from the camera: Maria, Shannon, Virgillia (though faint), Kanon, Genji, and then two of the Stakes, but I think I see more in the shadows. Strange though, Kanon and Shannon both have their calm face on, but Virgillia has her panic face on, to match the previous group. Maria look unentertained though.
0:48-0:50: What seems to be a fraction of an old sepia film of a path dividing a forest. On one side, the forest is thick with growth, but the other side looks almost dead. Blood splatters, then we see what I took to be flames, while more blood splatters.
0:50-0:53: Then we get the line of characters, similar to Episode 5's OP. List in order of appearence: Hideyoshi looking cheerful with a gun, Eva behind him looking very angry, Krauss looking angry, followed by an equally angry Natsuhi, followed by a passive looking Red Suit person leading the Siesta girls, with 556 hidden behind them, then a passive looking Pirate-Guardian guy, behind him a possibly angry Gohda, then a small group of Goats, and right behind them is a confident looking Rudolf and what I think is a passive Kyrie (I saw no mouth and no angling of the eyes to suggest anger, so I'm assuming passive), followed by a confident Erika? What is she doing back here? Is Ryuukishi pulling another Ange? Anyways, after her is a Kumasawa I couldn't see the face of, and a sad Nanjo, a smiling Evatrice (she should be dead too, come to think about it), and a cheerful Rosa. Ending the parade are the Eiserne Jungfrau, Ange, Sakutaro and Amakusa, and finally the Trap Twins, before a solar lens flare with a Bern hiding behind it.
0:53: Then we get the typical grinning Battler and Beato scene, but to me, Beato seems almost... properly happy in this picture. Of course, right after we a close-up of her mouth, and that doesn't look very happy at all.
0:54: One of the stacks of gold that equals the ten tonnes.
0:54-0:55: Underwater, then something that resembles a giant squid swims past, and it changes to a scene which resembles the passageway to the gold, although a bit brighter.
0:56: A picture of Beato and her umbrella, which fades to black.
0:57: Battler and Beato, both looking very confident and ready to kick ass. It looks like more of a team-up than a battle between the two of them though.
0:57-0:58: What I swear is supposed to be a fancy take on the Chapel, with Bern and Lambda standing before the altar. Are they getting married? I wish. Looks more like a battle declaration from them to... well, probably Battler and/or Beato. Or vice versa.
0:58-0:59: A sad looking Kinzo, with a kind-smiling Beato behind him, Ronove and Virgillia, who look like they're almost in mourning, or at least depressed about something. Finally, Ange, leading a smiling Maria and Sakutaro.
1:00-1:02: I found this cool. It looks like George is going to team up with Gaap, and Jessica's going to team up with Ronove in one of the fantasy scenes. Whether or not the two teams are teamed up as well is the question.
1:02-1:05: The line of portraits, all of them from all the Episodes (with one curious undefinable one). Beato's, is centered, of course.
1:06: Three of the stakes appear (Lucifer or Belphegor, Mammon and Asmodeus), followed by a smiling Kanon and a Shannon, with stained glass in the background.
1:07: Explosion of golden flames/butterflies, and Rudolf and Kyrie appear, alongside their best friends in the Stakes, Belphegor and Leviathan.
1:08: BAD-ASS GOHDA. Run. Oh and Beezlebub is there too.
1:09-1:10: The Siestas appear, along with their fancy firing animations.
1:10-1:12: The Eiserne Jungfrau show up, with a burning horizon behind them. Mighty red slash appears, and there's an explosion. Looks like it's caused by Dlanor.
1:13-1:15: Scene of some trees partially obscuring the moon. Has this scene been used before? Or is it a new one?
1:15-1:18: The Sea of Kakera, dotted with red. Might just be other kakera, but it feels ominous to me. Bern can be seen amongst them, and we get a close-up of her looking pensive.
1:18-1:20: The Golden Rose Garden, Beato's Golden Land, though she looks far from happy in it.
1:21-1:25: Battler looking concerned, probably for Beato, who's in the background looking far too satisfied with the situation.
1:25-1:28: A very bright Beato, so bright that I can't see her expression, who then dissolves into a shower of golden butterflies.
1:28-1:31: Those butterflies then proceed to fly in front of the mansion, though this time there's no mist.
1:32-1:34: Battler and Beato's silhouettes stand together as they fly through everything from the past Episodes. Battler and the cousins (except Jessica, though I think she's in the lens flare) happy and smiling, Beato's portrait from Episode 2, the materialization of Dlanor behind Erika in the Episode 5 OP, Gaap and her creepy face, the Siesta firing system, that weird picture of Battler, Hideyoshi and George's silhouettes from a view point of where Shannon should've been laying dead in the shed, Battler's bad-ass grin from the Episode 4 (or 5) opening, before everything fades to gold.
1:35-1:37: Beato smiling kindly, backed up by Ronove and the Stakes, a flash to her standing by herself, then half of Battler's smiling face.
1:38-1:51: Finally, a fade out of the island to the game logo.
Now for some general speculation.
I don't really feel like this is the requiem for Beato, despite the game's name. There's too much anchoring in the opening of her to Battler. Of course, this is only the opening, but I'm using what I've got here. To me, it feels more like a proper burial of Kinzo, who's only appearance (unless Pirate-Guardian guy is a younger Kinzo) is where Beato, Ronove and Virgillia, people who's piece tie-ins have deep connections to Kinzo, seem to be mourning him.
Why is there a lack of Lambda? Sure, she doesn't have much importance now that her role as Game Master is done with, but if this Episode is about Bern, you'd think there would be more of an appearance of the most important person to her.
