Er...I wouldn't say it's THAT clear, since they didn't actually show it. Not to mention that just because you say "koibito gokko" (lover's game) doesn't mean that the people in question are sleeping together
(it also appears in a manga I have, where the lovers in question clearly HADN'T slept together at that point) - the word "koibito" doesn't entail sleeping together either, though people who are dating in Japan
USUALLY have sex. But in the end, it's all up to the characters of the people in question.
Can't we all just accept that it actually IS a gray area? (Although I personally lean more to one side myself.)
