The only set in stone way is in Japanese, where it's pronounced "ah" (say
aah for the doctor) "nee" (bend your
knee) "meh" (
Meh,
men). Other languages will have at the word as they will, as with all loanwords. What you said is how I usually hear the word said in American English.
