I know some anime and manga characters that I think will fit the bill, and these are: Spoiler for Older sisters to male anime leads: Kasumi Tendo from Ranma 1/2 (although she isn't Ranma's love interest anyway) Youko Tsubaki from Mysterious Girlfriend X Akira Yoshii from Baka to Test to Shokanjuu (IMO this is the perfect example) These are the ones I know for now. Let me find some more if you don't get what I'm saying.
