I don't think it's a murder, firstly if he was going to get murdered it would have happened earlier, and secondly, practically speaking his death isn't going to cover up much, there are far too many other people who know all about this stuff for his death to achieve much. And Thirdly, with the eyes of the world on this scandal, I think it would be a bit foolish to kill him now.
And I doubt he had anything new to say, as he already blew the whistle a while back. If he had more to reveal he would have already done it.
Let's not be too quick to leap to conclusions.
