I selected "Often" though in fact, I drop a few series *every* season. I usually have at least one series that is "for sure keep" and several series on "probationary watch a few episodes". If I don't look forward to it after 2-3 episodes, its dropped. Occasionally, I'll pick up a series later because someone I know who has similar tastes recommend it. But since I've been watching regularly for almost 10 years now, I've gotten pretty particular about how I'm going to spend my anime time.
I do tend to go ahead and archive a series I *might* be interested in for "rainy day" marathons, but still if I'm cocking my eyebrows after a few episodes, it gets flushed.
