What Tatsuya had done was used his decomposition magic on the objects, which causes them to break down into their individual
components (bolts, screws, springs...) Apparently when he uses his Decomposition magic on Objects, the objects will separate into
whatever makes them.

So maybe he used strong deceleration magic instead?
