OTOH, Secret World's challenging story content and "research required" quests ( I now have a Morse Code audio translator app on my phone ) seem to be too hard for general audiences. Sadly, I think the reason that kind of crap became the industry standard is because people
DO make money off it and with something as expensive to make as a video game, people stick with tried and true formulas.
This same problem occurs in pop music, hollywood, most forms of popular art.
But it's especially pronounced with MMOs.
