"ghost banri" being aware of what's happening was interesting, and it still makes sense from the 'part of his subconscious'. Before Banri nodded off, he's aware this is bad. And that ends up freaking out the subconscious.
And it ends up being one of those sudden traumas bringing it all back to him. Looks like banri might have a bit of ghost banri back next episode.
