Log Horizon has been among my top most eagerly anticipated weekly simulcasts since its debut 25 episodes ago. Only once did my score drop below an 8. (It was a 7 one week.) I rated several episodes 9 and IIRC the Rudy episode got a 10. The Rudy episode was unquestionably my favorite episode of this series and one of my favorites of the season across all the series. The show started strong, stayed strong throughout its middle, and ended even stronger. Overall score from me: 9.
I'm very much looking forward to the second season. My only dilemma: I had planned to continue with the novels once the anime was done. But now that I know for sure there's going to be a season 2, do I continue with my continue on plan?
Such happy a dilemma.
