Personally that wouldn't be a good idea - thought provoking it might be but it can seem dry and off-putting to talk about that. Not saying that from experience (I've never actually been on a proper date either), but it's a general thing.
In terms of advice, I'd have a look
here and see what you can muster. For what it's worth, I'd be just as nervous as you (assuming I get a first date in the future
) but dating doesn't seem like rocket science. Just relax, listen and let things flow
