I think trying to promote World Trigger now would be a smart move if they're looking to fill that gap. There's no way a new battle shonen can reach Naruto's popularity if they started now, unless it's something new by Murata, but he's busying working on One Punch Man.

Maybe you're right. WT gets a CP in the #48 Jump magazine release. So Jump does seem to try to promote it to get it more interest. But so far it doesn't look like the anime had much effect on its sales. It would be good if WT could sell over 150k or 200k before dropping out of the Oricon Top 50 sales. But so far it seems far from it.
It is kind of strange though. WT had so many postcards and votes for its first popularity poll, yet it always rank in the middle or near the bottom and rarely in or near the top5 or the bottom 5. But Assclass which sells far more than WT had like not even a 1/10 of voters that WT had for its popularity poll. Guess that means WT has at least a dedicated fanbase in japan though it doesn't seem to grow much, no thanks to the anime.
A shame, the Invasion arc got pretty good yet it is an up and down in the rankings with it. Some chapters are very high, most middle and some in the bottom like in the recent ranking. Then again the WT editor had said that WT has gotten first place a couple times in the TOC yet we never saw that, so it's not like its written in stone what the ranking results are.
Spoiler for Chapter 78 spoiler:
I really liked this chapter.
Mostly because I was glad that Replica wasn't dead. If Yuuma had lost his last "family" like that, that would have been a shock. Replica didn't repaired himself though, so maybe it is serious? Dunno, we'll see.
The fight of Yuuma vs Viza got into its last phase and it was really great to watch. Viza had Yuuma pinned with his dancing swords and Yuuma suddenly went for a straighton attack.
Viza ofc expected that and moved his swords to cut Yuuma's head in half, but Yuuma stopped midair just an inch before the sword cutting empty air. Thanks to his anchor trigger.
I liked how such a simple combo of jump trigger and anchor trigger can be good for a surprise and change the flow of a battle quickly.
Yuuma jumped again to reach the Aftkratol soldier, Viza tried to prevent that from happening, but he only cut off Yuuma's legs. Yuuma was just about to obliterate Viza as his whole trion body gets cut in half.
Really liked the panel effect there when it showed us Yuuma's view which was a bit separated as his two body halfes drifted apart.
Viza was sure he had won, but Yuuma being a BT wasn't bailed out and he used the smoke of his body explosion to charge an attack on Viza while being in his vulnerable "normal" body. Viza wanted to cut, and with that most likely end up killing Yuuma, again but his sword was hold down by a heavy bullet which trigger had Yuuma planted on his own body as a body trap so to say.
Viza unable to defend himself, because that would have meant to give his weapon up, got disintegrated into pieces by a single blow of Yuuma!
What I really liked about this chapter, was how it showed that out there are several people who could challenge Yuuma even in his Black Trigger form. And that Yuuma has to sacrifice a lot, his arm, legs and even the whole body in the end, to achieve a draw, or a sort-of victory.
But with this Yuuma is out of the count as I doubt he can recharge his Black Trigger body any time soon. So he cannot help Osamu out who still got to face Mira. Plus there is not much time left till the crossroad future happens where Osamu might get killed. Can't wait to see that one happening. Either it happens in the next chapter or in chapter 80. Hope it's the next chapter.^^
