No, I'm not going to say this was better than Age. I say congrats to Reconguista. I didn't think anything could steal the bottom slot for recent Gundam from Age, but you did it. Congrats
. This makes clear Tomino should stay wherever he was before this.
In the end the show had some nice action scenes, and I liked the main theme for the action scenes....but that's about it.
The characters were bizarre, random, and the story just never seemed to get anywhere. He we were with all this stuff going on, and I didn't really care
. Things just never made any damn sense in this show. There is quirky and then there is downright idiotic.
So yeah we are two Gundam shows in a row that I thought were questionable. Though now I have a much stronger appreciation for Age. You cut out the third arc and it was actually pretty solid
. And even with it, not as bad as this. Maybe we can get closer to the Gundam 00 quality level next time.
RIP this show....just please never return from the grave
