For the longest time
this has been my favorite kissing scene from any media.
Over five years later, and after viewing countless more couples kissing on screen, that scene has finally been eclipsed, but perhaps only because I have a greater fondness for Rinko and Takeo.

I can't think of a cuter one!
The only thing that I didn't like about the episode was the mention of Odious-kun. It spiked a momentary fear that he might just barge his way into the episode and ruin Takeo's birthday. My New Year's Day wish would've been that we never see him again.
