I wish people like you would stop treating these studios as mindless robots who are contracted to work for producers at their whim. Studios maintain certain quality standards, attract the right talent, and have their own culture. A Kyoani or a Madhouse production is often very distinctively their work. Yes, a given production can have its own set of issues depending on producers or the staff in general, but that reflects on the reputation of the studio as a whole.

And as far as reputation goes, 8bit has a pretty shitty one. If they consistently get productions with too little time to do anything, it means something about them specifically. I don't excuse them for garbage like this.
