Heero is a "programmed child soldier". I'm not talking about using trauma that makes someone an effective soldier. I'm talking about too many jock like soldiers, too many crazy soldiers and too many soldier characters that bring the whole stick-up-their-ass duty persona to real life.

I'm thinking about the guy who became a soldier because it seemed like the only choice or it seemed like the right choice. Someone who's more normal and doesn't seem to stand out of the rank and file and comes out of conflict physically alive but mentally dying while still trying to recover.
