Come on Shinji, surely you don't need a lesson in probabilities at this point. If there's a 5% chance of an event occurring, someone might trigger it on the first try, someone else might try 1000 times and not get it. Both ends are unlikely but they're well within the realm of probability. Nobody has it in for you, least of all Cygames.
Besides, I haven't been playing nearly as long or as passionately as you have but I've done my fair share of Celeste hunting and I've only seen one claw drop as well. Unless recently I thought drops were a myth.
