Spoiler for final thoughts:

-The setting itself smelled like they wanted to do something dark, but no one would watch it unless cute loli-ish girls do it
-The earlier episodes pointlessly scrambled the episodes around
-The last episode leaving so much open
-Pointlessly fancy English OP

Outside of these problems, it turned out to be a surprisingly interesting watch. I guess it helps that it probably had the better scenario out of the serious anime this season (though this may not be that big of a compliment considering the hurdle of stuff like Fate and ReCreators is underground).

Anyways, a good balance of scenario and stable animation quality (wow, isn't that rare these days). Nothing that really shouts out as memorable and all (I guess the fact little was resolved made the anime itself so), but a well-done anime, I guess. Oh, except maybe Chise's sword fight. The animator for that episode in general did a good job.
However, a weak final episode for an original anime.
