I don't mind the CGI, since Polygon has done a much better job than a lot of other CGI companies. The serie's story is ok so far. Polygon usually has great story series like Ajin and Knights of Sdonia, so hopefully, this will as well.

However, my one concern is the whaling similarities. The dragons seem like that world's version of the whale, and the technique to capture them seems similar. Even the parts of the "dragons" and its uses seem similar. I just don't feel that it's right to glorify whaling, considering that they are endangered species.

By the 2nd episode, they kill a baby dragon, and the scene plays out as a good thing. Then there are the cooking aspects, like it's a cooking show. It's like this is how you cook whale.

If I can make it past the whale similarities, I might be able to watch this series. Polygon usually makes excellent animes, so that's what it has going for it.
