Regarding 1, the question is on the one hand, are there even recordings. The 86 are obviously treated as parts, not people, so there is no real need to conversation or recording from the usual handler. On the other hand, if there are recordings, they most likely won't get anything out of it if you take what happened in the opening scene as a reference. Just somebody who appears to lose his mind.
As for 2, that's a doll, not a person.
