Ryuen was saved because Class B gave him their positive votes in exchange for his points, so assuming Class C didn't suddenly have a change of heart or influence by someone, Ayonokoji was saved by votes from other classes. By process of elimination, it's likely Sakayanagi directed the Class A votes to Ayonokoji instead of the idiot who believed she'd give it to him.

After he colliding her and blaming her fault, she had her retaliation. Or rather, he is a nearby target which is convenient for her plan.
