Japanese gobble-giddy, yes, but this programming stuff is moonspeak to me
I understand how much easier it is on the editors for the translators to preserve/enter all this stuff as they're going through, and I'm willing to do cooperate, but I'm at least eight years behind in computer science (the last computer we bought was advertised to be Y2K compatible)
It says that if you can't abide by the guidelines to just post your translation in <pre> tags, but I'm loathe to do that, since I can imagine what the poor soul who has to edit it will go through. Mostly what I don't get is this stuff:

I'm fine with keeping all the coding the same, but how do I know when to change something and what to change it to?
