Nearly all of the named Japanese voice actors participating in the Anichara Expo have played a major role in at least one mainstream anime title from Toei Animation.

Unlike events which cater more to hardcore fans (e.g., otaku), such as the Tokyo International Anime Fair and Chara Hobby, the Anichara Expo reaches out to the general public (children, families, etc.).
