Something about this series really, really bothered me. it was going great until

Spoiler for episode 4:

The heroine decided the only way to save the guy she wants to protect was to, in effect, surrender.

I mean, that guy's behavior was about as reprehensible as you can get. For him to win even temporarily sticks in my craw. And it's a really terrible way to anwer the all-too-common question "How do i deal with a stalker?"

It takes a lot to offend me in anime, but this did.
