Ok, let's see if this doesn't bother anyone's plot...like Keith did, sorry about that one
Spoiler for Maren:
Name: Maren
Age: 14 physically, but she's been around for a long time.
Height: 155cm
Gender: Female
Hair Color: Crimson
Eye Color: Golden
Mage Rank: S
Magic Color: Golden
Prefered Element: Fire
Homeworld: 37th Non-Administrated World
Magic Style: Mid-Childa most of the time, "Divine" magic in extremely rare occasions.
Fighting Style: Immobilize the target with several binds, use of attacks only if necessary.
Personality: She's a girl who is emotionally hurt and avoids starting a relationship with anyone due to her past experiences. Yet, she needs to be surrounded by people to feel at ease.
Because of the ability to think straightforwardly and make cold, but necessary judgements, others TSAB members tend to think that she has 'no emotions'. However, when no one is around, she is a sincere girl who likes flowers.
Description: Not a familiar, but a mythical creature, a fox to be exact. Her true form hasn't been seen in centuries, you'll be lucky enough to catch her with her ears and tails exposed (check "notes" in the end).
She can exist on her own without a master and her race can live for eons and begin to age at a very slow rate when they reach the physical appearance of a teenager.
Device: None, she has enough skill and experience to execute her magic with out the help of a Device.
Magics:
She avoids to use her own magic, unless the situation requires it.
So, she uses standard magic known by the TSAB, like Bind-type magics, either short or long range (due to her acute senses), Barriers and Shields.
Flame Mastery: Not quite a magical skill, but an ability she as. Any attack of the fire property can be manipulated by her and either absorved or redirected.
Spark Flare: Basically, a fire ball shot at high speed.
Flame Buster: Mid-childa type magic, a gold beam cannon, similar to Divine Buster.
Gold Flame: "Divine" type, requires the use both hands to properly control the output of power, resulting in a stream of golden flames fired from her hands, it's very powerful, so she rarely uses it.
She has other "Divine" magics but she doesn't use them unless needed.
Story:
Centuries ago, she as a "wild beast", that much like a child without supervision, did as she pleased.
In a nearby village, she was known as the "Demon of the Golden Flame", she stole food from the village, pulled pranks on humans, etc...
The people of didn't like her at all, but none could stood against her, because she was powerful and she could sense them coming, even in her sleep.
They sent several mercenaries to get rid of her, only to return scorched and humiliated while her laughs echoed in the valley.
Then, one day, a young mage was passing by and heard about their predicament and volunteered to help, the villagers tried to talk the mage out of it, but said he that he wouldn't use force, he was just going to talk to her.
He ventured into her lair and as he walked along the labyrinthic paths of the cave, he heard her giggles as he got closer.
When he arrived to the main chamber, he saw a girl, that looked younger than him by some years, dressed with rags of clothes that were probably stolen from the village.
He greeted her and apologized for entering without permission, that immediately puzzled her, since everyone who entered her home and layed eyes upon her would attack without hesitation.
"I heard that you've been causing the people of the village some touble." He said in a very calm and relaxed way.
"I'm just havin' fun, what's wrong with that?" She folded her arms and looked away.
He smiled and sat down, adjusting his robes afterwards. "Is that how you played with your family?"
That caught her attention, she nodded to confirm his hunch.
"I thought so...you see, humans work hard to survive and to take care of themselves, like the people of that village." He paused.
"They're always busy and keep saying that they don't have time to play with children." She tried to make up an pointless excuse.
"I see, so you walk around the village with that human appearance, and they don't even know you're the 'demon' they fear so much."
"Don't call me that!" She said angry, "They can't even begin to imagine what a real demon is..." but quickly became sad as she remembered, sitting down with her head low.
"You lost your family...am I right?" He asked gently.
She simply nodded, hiding her face and tears.
"You don't like to be alone...that's why you want the people of the village to play with you. You want a friend..."
She felt his hand pet her head, slowly, gently, comforting her. "If you'd like, I can be your friend."
Raising her head, she looks at him with that gentle smile, and the tears began running down at a faster rate, hugging the young mage tightly, she cried on his lap.
He embraced her and let her cry all she wanted, she probably hasn't felt the warmth of another living being in a long, long time.
Holding hands, they went to the village, where she apologized for her actions and promissed to pay them back for what she stole and damaged.
Hearing the story from the mage, they were surprisingly quick to forgive, they never thought a child was causing all that trouble.
After working to pay back what she took, Maren, the name given to her by the mage, became his "guardian beast" and travelled with her first friend around the land, helping those in need and bringing the wicked to justice.
Along with her friend and master, their reputation grew and she gained the title of "Divine Flame" for her actions.
The young mage latter married and started a family. And even though Maren loved him, she never told him, supporting him after he married and for the rest of his life.
The day came when he died, and Maren, she didn't look a day older than that day they met.
It was painful for her to see how fragile and how short human's life span was.
But she remained loyal to her master's descendants, and served them through out the ages.
Then, a war broke after many years of peace, and she fought along side her master to protect those who couldn't defend themselves.
But the opposing forces were too many, and kept attacking in turns, the country was quickly losing ground as the territories were being conquered one by one.
Maren's current master, was much like her first, in appearance and personality, they fought together in their nation's last stronghold.
She was wounded while protecting him from a sniper, but wanted to keep fighting.
Her master told her to pull back, but she refused, insisting she could still fight...
"Stop being stubborn and pull back!" He ordered her as he fought several soldiers.
"No! I'm staying here, no matter what you say!" She said covering her wound with one hand and attacking with the other.
"They're too many, if you stay here you're not going to last much longer!"
"I don't care, I'll stay here until I die!" She kept shooting.
"I don't want you to die! I wouldn't be able to live without you!" He shouted it at her.
Her heart skipped a beat and time stopped for her..."could this mean what I think it means?" she said to herself.
"Look out!" He shouted.
A shot was heading straight for her, she tried to move but her wound made her flinch and...
Her master shielded her, using his own body.
Seeing him die in her arms because her feelings got in the way, she lost herself in rage, unleashing her power uncontrollably.
Destroying everything in her path, thr enemy tried to stop her as she marched towards them, but with no effect.
Leaving a trail of destruction in her path, she arrived to the enemy capital and razed it to the ground, the whole country burned with golden flames and no building or human was spared from her rage.
When she came to her senses, she fell on her knees and cried until she couldn't cry anymore.
She was alone, again, so she isolated herself in another world for sometime.
As time went by, she secretly helped those who got lost in the area she lived, and she realized it would be best to atone her sins by helping others.
She heard of the TSAB, joined and became an Enforcer who would work solo when possible, and always pulled through on her missions with out wounding anyone.
Note: For those who don't know, in Japanese culture, the older a fox is, the more tails it has and more mystical it is, and are known to grow up to nine tails.
Maren has two tails, which makes her at least a coulpe of centuries old, I think.
Here's her picture again, just in case...
Maren
That's pretty much it...
I bet some of you weren't expecting her to be what she is
