It has been mentioned that everything in that trailer is rendered in-game in real time. These are not the CG movies, but simple in-game cutscenes combined with actual game-play (when all the status menus popped up). If you pause during the "game-play" scenes, you'll find that the graphics retain the same level of details as the cutscenes.
With graphics like these, I doubt they'd need CG movies anymore anyway.
