Fiiiiinally my soundtrack arrived after a killer wait. It's cram-packed full of bgm and short songs, including the aforementioned piano performances by thighs, I mean, Maki. While I cannot really distinguish the individual tracks, they are all very nice. Love Live has surprisingly good bgm. I feel as if the composer put more effort into it than a typical show. Perhaps I just feel that way because all the tracks are pleasant- there are no tracks that are deliberately jarring. Or perhaps the producer realized that good bgm is important for an idol show and compensates for the low number of performances.
I immediately discovered that I cannot distinguish the singers on the individual EDs; I will have to train to recognize them.
I did not get any 1st press bonuses, as they were sold out at the time. That's typical. I'm not even sure how I managed to get an early printing bonus for Idolmaster 2... possibly it was sealed inside the game case itself?
