Seriously I always thought young Kinzo was akin to Batter (not just physically, mentally).
But yeah the iron first with which he ruled his family seems to contrast the idea of someone who outright hates his family.
Actually if he really hated his family so much, why the hell did he bother to get four children?
That whole thing isn't very credible to me.
