Thanks for sharing that. About the rotoscoping, he was only talking about his own scenes.

I also thought it interesting how some Japanese viewers wrote to him commenting that the beckoning gesture was more European than Japanese. I had wondered about it when I watched the episode myself, wondering if Japanese people beckoned like the 'beckoning cat' even when in a hurry (as opposed to what had been animated).
