I like sad endings, and the most unresolved the better for me. I like when at the end they give you something to talk about or when they leave the rest up to your imagination. I hate when they try to answer every single question, it is one of the reasons why I love Shadow Of The Colossus so much.

I don't care for happy endings, that kind of thing is never memorable and sometimes is incredible boring and embarrassing. I want to see the characters going to hell in the last act with a feeling of loss and grief just like Seven Samurai or Ran.
