The entanglement of the definition was not really there but from her numerous thoughts and actions shown. If you are suspecting Athena to have a high degree of yandere-ness from her only one dark moment due to reasoning and logic, you are way over generalizing.
If you believe she has "some" degree of yandere-ness, then it is unnecessary to state about her yandere-ness because everyone was already ok that she has a mixture of characters which included a degree of it. You can but don't make it sounds so vague.
